🧠 May is Stroke Awareness Month 🧠

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, and every second counts. Knowing the warning signs and acting quickly can save a life and reduce long-term disability.

Remember B.E. F.A.S.T.
B – Balance: Sudden loss of balance or coordination
E – Eyes: Sudden vision changes
F – Face: Facial drooping or uneven smile
A – Arms: Arm weakness or numbness
S – Speech: Slurred speech or difficulty speaking
T – Time: Time to call 911 immediately

Don’t wait to see if symptoms improve. Quick action can make all the difference.

Help spread awareness, educate others, and know the signs — because recognizing a stroke early can save a life.

Heading to Bonnaroo again this year- fingers and toes crossed it doesn’t get rained out again!💗🤞 I will be totally off the grid for those few days as service is spotty on the farm. Our office will still be open for questions, labs, injections, and infusions if needed thanks to our amazing staff holding down the fort. If you need refills before that time, feel free to give us a call to schedule an appointment. I appreciate all of our patients and will see you when I get back!

FYI: My youngest is getting his tonsils out May 6th, so I won’t be available for in-office appointments 6th-8th while I am giving him all the mommy cuddles and popsicles he can stand. Send him good vibes and prayers for fast recovery! 💗💗

Nursemaid elbow HURTS! This sweet girly had a case of nursemaid elbow, where the elbow dislocates out of the socket. Children will be hesitant to move the arm and it is painful. This is a common occurrence in younger children and can be fixed in an instant in our office- if your kids experience this, skip the ER, save the $2k, and come on in. One of my favorite things to do because the pain stops immediately and it is so quick to fix!
