Bleaching wood today. Final step to get as much color out of this chair so we can get a nice stain on it. Got my “safety” enough gear on. Time to mix up some acid! Janet Jackson is today’s wood shop mood.

helped me out on final leg of this chair stripping. Arthritis activated but we see the light. Thank heavens for help and thank heavens for patient client.

Round 3/4. This chair is kicking my butt as the paint job was beautiful and blue is stained into the grain. When doing spindles, I try to take the top off so I can have better access to strip/clean. However, unable to do it here. I used a stronger stripper than normal this past weekend. Chemical burns are a thing, 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪. Gloves I bought degraded, so got these reusable ones and today we will put them on a test. I’m not guided by OSHA, only trying not to make same mistake 2x.

For my friend. Not a job, but for fun, for joy. She looked joyful when she saw it! I’m sharing because this was different, difficult, and am proud that you can tell it’s Mickey! Thank you Edgar for cutting the circle! Quartz top and reclaimed wood bottom, may be imperfect, but no one was made perfectly! 🤭😂
