It’s been a journey but together we stand Strong. 🤎

BHD began about as humbly as a business can — Tai, a single mum working out of a garage, a handful of artisans in a workroom in India, and a kid getting underfoot between the looms.

That kid was Sharm. Sharm grew up inside this business — the cloth, the beading, the reason we still make everything by hand — and now leads our small team across marketing, photography and sales.

This month, the second generation rebuilt our home on the web. A new bhdhome.com.au, designed the way we design everything: slowly, deliberately, and with love.

Thirty-three years on, it’s been a journey — but we’re still standing strong. Every design still our own, every piece still made by hand in our own small unit. Same family.

Same hands. Just a more beautiful front door.
