A sports bar and gaming floor made to hold a crowd.

The Commodore's sports bar was built to hold a crowd. We designed it around sightlines to the screens, in warm timber, brass and green leather that takes a beating and still looks good. Next door, the gaming floor turns up the drama. Both sit inside a venue that won four 2026 design awards.

Jewel tones and a peacock mural in Darlinghurst.

Mayfair Lounge is a cocktail room built for the evening. Rich red banquettes and dark marble sit beneath a bold peacock mural, with a brass cage feature at its heart. Low light, warm metals and a bit of drama throughout.

A North Sydney landmark, reborn around its dining room.

The Commodore reimagines a local landmark around the story of Billy Blue. Its main bar and dining room run on warm timber, brass and green leather, opening to a light-filled garden room set over a checkerboard floor. It won four times at the 2026 Australian and World Design Awards, for Eat and Drink and Hospitality Casual.

Gaming design that puts comfort first.

The Flagstone Tavern gaming lounge is built around room to breathe. Soft lighting, tactile finishes and generous spacing give players privacy without cutting them off, and the machine layout follows the way patrons move through the room. Rich materials do the rest.

How a venue comes together.

It starts with the offer and the numbers, not the mood board. We plan how the space will trade, then layer in materials, light and detail. By the time it looks like something, it already works like something. That order matters.

The Blue Cattle Dog Hotel opens this month.

Construction is all but complete on the Blue Cattle Dog Hotel, and the doors open this month. After months on site, a much-loved Western Sydney local is nearly ready for its next chapter. We can't wait to see it open.

A Japanese robata bar in charred timber and cool stone.

Kenny Rens opened in 2017 as a small Japanese restaurant and wh**ky bar built around robata, meat grilled slowly over hot coals. We kept it intimate and restrained, with charred and warm timbers set against the cool greys of concrete and stone. A bold artwork by local artist Amy Finlayson runs indigo brushstrokes through the room.

We like materials that take a beating.

Hospitality is hard on a room. Timber, brass, stone and good leather earn their place because they wear in instead of wearing out. We choose finishes that still look right after a few thousand services, not just on opening night.

A gaming room that plays like a film set.

The new Luxe Gaming Room at the Ivanhoe of Manly leaves the beachside classic at the door. Dark, moody palettes carry moments of shimmer and glow, with sculptural detailing that gives the room drama and depth.

Built for quiet nights, or crowded ones.

A venue cannot only come alive when it is full. We design rooms that feel right with a handful of people on a quiet night and still hold a crowd on the biggest one. Both days pay the bills.
