Hello Community,
Several things have been happening behind the scenes to make JB Arts’ new home at 113 Richey St. However, with the need of extra permits and other changes, it was becoming a risk that the work might not be complete by July.
In response I have rented the Almonte Arena Upper Hall to run this year’s Summer Art Club. The biggest advantage to the arena, is to open more spaces in weeks that are already sold out!
We have several familiar teachers and helpers returning with a combination of new projects with favourites mixed in. Saying all that, we are promoting much later then usual and would ask that you could let as many people know as possible, many are still under the assumption that we are closed. I would love to see a circumstance where the good news travels far and fast. I am so excited to be able to continue doing what I love and am putting all that excitement into making this year one of the best!
