Two Birds Furniture Inc. Your home of modern rustic

Custom made wood doors, mantels, built-in’s , beams.and more..

At Two Birds we take reclaimed wood from local farms and transform it into unique home decor. Each piece is accompanied by a write-up of Alberta's history, the farm family back story, the building's history, build date, and removal date, allowing our clients to take home a piece of Alberta's past turned heirloom for generations to come.

Some transformations don’t need to start from scratch.

These existing grey beams had the scale and structure the space needed — they just didn’t have the warmth.

Rather than tearing them out, we gave them an entirely new look by cladding the existing beams in rich, warm white oak.

Sometimes the best transformation is working with what’s already there.

A back hall built-in might just be one of the best upgrades you can make to your family home.

Shoes, backpacks, jackets, hats, sports gear… everything has a place. Less clutter, easier mornings, and a space that actually works for everyday family life.

Beautiful is great. Beautiful + functional is even better.

We are here for all the ceiling beams. 😍 We hope this trend sticks around because they are stunning!

This beautiful new home in Harmony just got the Two Birds touch with custom wood beams and a matching fireplace mantel. The perfect way to bring warmth, character, and a natural element into a bright modern space.

Simple details. Big impact.

Vaulted ceilings deserve a statement. These custom floating beams, finished in our signature Weathered Fir stain, add warmth, depth, and just the right amount of contrast to this beautiful new build. A simple detail that completely transforms the space. Thanks to one of our trusted builder partners for another great project!

Always looking for ways to build a better product. We changed our door construction from traditional panelled rails and stiles to solid rails and stiles around the core, giving our doors more structural strength and helping eliminate blowouts and future callbacks. Bonus of today’s assembly? It reminded me my Domino XL vacuum port was plugged… that explains a few things! 😂

Not every part of woodworking is glamorous. Before these MDF glass doors ever see a coat of paint, every mullion, edge, and surface has to be sanded to perfection. The smoother the prep, the better the finish.

With the shop packed full of projects, sometimes that means putting in a few extra evening and weekend hours to keep things moving. This video is sped up… if only sanding happened this fast! 😅
