The artist, author and tutor, Mark, creates high-end house portraits for clients. Castle Fine Arts the studio & gallery of the artist Mark Hilsden.

The Colour Makers House (rebuilt in 1677) is home to a traditional artist's colour man's shop and alchemy workshops show how paint and pigments are traditionally made. He specializes in micro detailed house portraits of and amazing paintings of space. At the gallery he sells a range of artists materials, dry pigments and can order stock in that isn't held. The artist holds classes and workshops in drawing in Pen and Ink, painting with acrylics and understanding colour and pigments.
