Plus you'll find information about any upcoming work and events that may be of interest, so it's the best place to see what's happening in the world of Sacredart Murals right now, and in the months ahead...

So go ahead and Like this page if you want these updates to appear in your news feed. And if you don't know already, most of my previous artwork and murals painted over the last twenty years or so can also be seen on my website, www.sacredart-murals.co.uk

Thanks, Neil.

A little selection of photos from my Mega Playroom Disney Mural, the same one I shared in video form yesterday 🏰

It's a very large playroom, painted in a Disney style for a Premier League footballer, and I was allowed to really, really go for it with this Disney mashup. A little indulgent, if I'm honest, but I had a wonderful time covering the walls in colour and whimsy.

My largest project to date — a mural spanning three joined properties in central Brixham, painted for the local community group Brixham Future. It depicts Nelson and the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a subject chosen for its local connection: Nelson and his fleet were stationed in Brixham back in 1801, and a nearby property visible from the mural itself on Union Lane was once used by naval officers, including Nelson and can actually be seen in the first image. (The placard was finished after most of these photos were taken).

It was a real privilege to take on a piece of this scale, and to help mark a small but meaningful part of Brixham's history along the way.

Late afternoon in the jungle 🌅

I painted this mural for South West Intervention Services (SWIS), where the animals and birds each represent the different young people who use the centre. The orangey glow of the late afternoon light was all about bringing some warmth and calm into the space, and giving everyone a character to feel a part of.

It was a real privilege to work on something I hope makes the centre feel a little friendlier and more welcoming every day.

A little jungle for South West Intervention Services (SWIS).

A couple of years ago I was asked to paint a hand-painted jungle mural for South West Intervention Services in Buckfastleigh, and I thought I'd share a few photos of how it turned out. It was a real pleasure to work on, with plenty of foliage, colour and little details to get lost in along the way, and took ten days to complete. It definately added a bit of calm and something pleasant to look at in the space, with the different animals representing the various characters that use the centre.

Every mural I paint is done by hand, and each one is designed to suit the room and the people who'll be using it. If you've a wall at home, work or elsewhere that could do with something similar, you're very welcome to get in touch through my website and we can have a chat about it: sacredart-murals.co.uk

One from the archives — a little glimpse back at one of my favourite projects: Rosie's magical woodland bedroom. Walls were transformed into an enchanted forest, home to a gentle fae princess drifting between sunlit branches and soft drifts of woodland light, whilst hugging a magical white horse. The idea was to create a space that feels as though it's been lifted straight out of a bedtime story — somewhere a child can lie back each night and feel like they've stepped into their own fairytale. Another wall was more specifically asked for in a Disney style theme so this was incorporated into the design.

There's something really special about painting a room a child will grow up in, watching their imagination unfold within it day after day. Projects like this remind me why I love what I do.

Full shopfront artwork for Ashburton Wholefoods shop — an organic farming themed design created to bring some warmth and colour to their frontage and help the shop stand out in it's somewhat hidden location. The aim was to keep the artwork clean and inviting, using soft natural tones and vibrant leafy veg, that reflects the quality and care behind what's inside.

It's always a pleasure working with local businesses to create something that becomes part of their identity — a well-considered frontage can make a real difference to how a shop is first seen by passers-by.
