A glimpse behind the scenes at one of our current Surrey projects, where bespoke joinery is in progress and beginning to take shape.

From beautifully detailed cabinetry to carefully considered storage, every element is designed to bring together practicality, craftsmanship and Furnbury’s house style.

We can’t wait to share more as this project comes together.

A closer look at our Surrey project in progress…

Caroline recently returned to site to see how this exceptional 6,000 sq ft family home is taking shape.

From beautifully fitted bespoke wardrobes and thoughtfully designed bathrooms to the architectural details that bring character to every space, it’s wonderful to see the vision coming to life.

With Furnbury’s architectural and FF&E teams working together throughout the project, every detail is carefully considered to create a home that feels both timeless and individual.

Follow along as we continue to bring this beautiful Surrey home to life.

Not every day in the Furnbury studio looks the same…

This week, Caroline and Lucinda headed to Daylesford in Pimlico for a supplier meeting - with plenty to look at, admire and taste along the way.

We love finding inspiration in unexpected places and Daylesford is full of the things we’re drawn to in design: beautiful materials, natural textures, considered details and effortless, understated style.

A productive meeting, lots of inspiration and a rather delicious lunch. We’ll take that as a successful day.

THE DETAILS MATTER

It’s often the things you barely notice that make the biggest difference.

The best-designed homes don’t just look beautiful - they work beautifully too, because every detail has been carefully considered.

CEILING CORNICES

Why stop at the obvious?
Here, a bespoke lattice detail has been carried from the mirror onto the ceiling cornice, creating a subtle connection between the elements of the room.

LIGHTING CONTROLS

Good lighting design starts long before you switch the light on.

The position, finish and function of every switch can make a surprising difference to how a space feels.

PLUG SOCKETS

Not the most glamorous detail… but an important one.

Thinking about exactly where sockets sit and how they work with the furniture and architecture around them keeps a room feeling considered and clutter-free.

DOOR HINGES

Sometimes, the best details are the ones you barely notice.

A beautifully finished interior is about precision right down to the smallest details.

STAIRCASE DETAILS

Look closely.

Even the small patterned details on the staircase rise have been considered, adding another layer of character to the space.

Because beautiful interiors aren’t just about the big decisions.

They’re about all the little ones too.
