I was thrilled when my client chose this new fabric called Glencoe by Osborne & Little for her newly decorated cinema room. Glencoe is from a new collection called Rannoch Wool. A wonderful collection of wools and plaids.

The fabric goes beautifully with the panelling and allows us to bring in other rich colours for cushions and upholstery.
Cushion fabrics will be in textured amber fabrics and interesting velvets.

I wanted to show off the horizontal tufts on the top and bottom of both the curtains and blinds. Working with the pattern repeat meant fitting the poles slightly higher than planned to accommodate the fabric repeat. Ditto with the blinds, allowing the tufts to show through, finished off the blinds beautifully.

A bedroom refresh completed this week, with new curtains, a roman blind, a box cushion cover, scatter cushions and a newly recovered headboard.

All fabrics by The Pure Edit with the exception of the stripe, Flo Stripe by Ian Sanderson which we used for the backs of the cushions and the box cover.

We layered the window by the sink with a sheer roman blind for privacy. The sheer fabric is one I use a lot, it makes up well, it’s great for privacy and also allows some light in.

I’ve spent most of August working on a project in Henley-on-Thames. Several pairs of bespoke curtains, blinds and a box cushion cover.
We installed three pairs of curtains this week in a plain fabric with a lovely lustre by Romo, Fabrics & Wallcoverings with the addition of a beautiful embroidered Stem Braid by Colefax and Fowler for the leading edge. Timeless and elegant.

I have such a soft spot for simple window treatments which soften spaces but really do provide great privacy.
A simple cafe style gathered curtain for a bathroom, completed for my Skirmett project.

I’ve spent the last few months intermittently working on a project in Skirmett, Buckinghamshire. A lovely hamlet surrounded by countryside.
The house, a cottage has gone through a massive renovation and has been sympathetically restored for modern living.
The client has chosen fabrics carefully. These curtains were for her bedroom, the blind was specially printed to coordinate with the paint colour as it was proving tricky to find a soft green to match.

We installed several roman blinds and two fixed gathered curtains this week for a new client in Windsor, Berkshire.
The curtains help to soften the Velux windows and make the bedroom a little more cosy.
