Kiln opening day - firing three in preparation for Rutland Flower Show. Two shelves of deliciousness will be on the stand tomorrow... getting to grips with these new glazes and the temperatures they need to fire to.

Firing 2 of Rutland Flower Show prep. Firing 3 just started when it's going to be super hot tomorrow. I never get tge timing right!

Kiln opening day... I was determined I was going to be more positive at this opening... fired at 1140 with 30 minute hold. This did sort the crackling on some pieces from tge last firing, but now a couple of things have bubbles! Also hotter temp has burnt off tge red so these bits need a new coat and refuting ready to come out on Friday. Most pieces will be coming with me to Rutland Glower Show including lots of lovely gift tags for life.

Lots of glazing happening ready for Rutland Flower Show with Olive Designs. Going to put an other load in the kiln tomorrow night. Which names do you think I should add to Gift Tags for life? Lots made but hardly ever have the names people want.
