FLOUER’s STRAW BASED - fully biodegradable - CHRISTMAS WREATH (or Bespoke Form) WORKSHOP. Make your own design mark - without leaving your mark on the environment. (You choose the shape of your design - here I’m making a large horseshoe (I’ll share the finished design over the weekend). Sunday 29th November 2pm to 5pm; £66 (incl VAT). @ Flouer Flowers, The Hirsel Homestead, Coldstream, Scottish Borders. Create a large, fully biodegradable and sustainable Christmas Door Adornment. I’ll teach you how to make a straw frame in whatever shape you’d like and then how to ‘green’ it up. Whether you’d like to create something chic and naturalistic with a simple co-ordinating velvet ribbon, or whether you’d like something with a touch more excess and adornment and to stick to the traditional Christmas wreath circle, or something wacky like a star, bow or bell… or maybe you want to make an XXL wreath frame that can adorn the front of your house or garden gate… whatever it is - I can accommodate and teach you. Just know that if you go crazy large then you might have to finish it off in your own time - but that’s entirely okay. Because individuality is the spice of life. And Christmas is always better with more spice. There will be lots of dried fruit, bells, ribbon and spice as well and natural foraged cones and berries etc and you’re very welcome to bring along your own foraged or collected items too. This is the first of my Christmas Workshops. Coming up too will be my speciality - FLOUER’S CHRISTMAS DOOR SWAGS. And a CHRISTMAS TABLE ARRANGEMENT in your own ANTIQUE/HEIRLOOM BOWL (that will certainly last through and beyond Christmas Day). And MANTLEPIECE/BANISTER GARLANDS.
