It's a bit different to our other outlets - we sell some quirky vintage things on there that are not available anywhere else. Here's just a little sample of some of the things we've got for sale there.

Today, I've been out on the road...
Congratulations to all the entrants in the Llanfair Clydogau village show. Being a judge is always difficult and I had some hard decisions to make. What a creative lot you are!

We are sorry to report that West Yorkshire Spinners (WYS) have ceased production and is currently on the market (29/08/2026). At the moment, we can order from their remaining stock, but many colours are now out of stock so when we run out, that’s it. This may be your last chance to get what you want from the Colourlab, Signature, Retreat, Elements and Wool Revival ranges.

We have been introducing some new yarns over the last couple of months as the uncertainty has grown.

We are so sad for all the people who have worked to build WYS to the powerhouse they were. It is clear that it will not continue as before, as its mill is for sale (should you have a spare 3.65 million to hand) and all the production staff have been laid off.
We hope to be able to stock high quality British yarn but some WYS products currently have no direct British equivalents. We will continue to evolve our ranges keeping to our principles of sustainability and minimising environmental impact.

Please bear with us whilst we navigate our technical issues...
as many of you know, Lampeter is suffering from a lack of mobile internet. Since this is how we run our till software, we are having to use our mobile phones for sales.
You can help us by paying in cash where possible (we can take card payments, but we need to stand in the street to do it) but also by contacting your own mobile phone provider to report the problem.
There is clearly an issue with the mobile phone mast in Lampeter and the more people who log a complaint, the more likely it is to get resolved!

An old sheet, some scrap yarn and a peg loom...
Weaving with waste, you can create beautiful things. Our texture packs are a great way to add interest to peg loom weaving. And if you want to learn the technique, we have a class coming up later in the year.
