CTO LIGHTING designs, manufactures and supplies a contemporary range of luxury lighting. We are a design led company producing a stock range which is updated each year and also have a custom department who work directly with the architects and designers on bespoke projects. We are continually specified by leading designers including Phillippe Stark, Barbara Barry and David Collins for a variety of projects form one-off sculptural pieces to retail roll-outs both in the UK and abroad. We work to an exceptionally high standard as reflected in our client list; The Savoy, The Dorchester, Candy and Candy, Harrods, Wedgewood and British Airways.

A space made for gathering.

A short distance from Neuchâtel, sits within the Swiss countryside - a place built around slowing down, between rural landscape and watchmaking towns.

Above the communal table in Le Grand Salon, three CLOUDESLEY Chandeliers are suspended in sequence, their tiered opal glass shades bringing rhythm and a soft, diffused light to the length of the room. The repetition of oval glass and precisely machined brass gives each chandelier its structure, while together they create an intimate atmosphere around the table, fitting for a place where conversation is unhurried and time is allowed to linger.

Alabaster, brought to light.

Translucent by nature, alabaster softens and scatters the source, blurring harsh edges to create a warm, enveloping glow. It illuminates without flooding a room, leaving space for shadow, depth and contrast. After all, the most atmospheric rooms leave something unseen.

Seven materials, seven moods.

At CTO Lighting, we work with noble metals - each chosen not only for beauty, but for how it interacts with light.

Every piece is hand-finished by our artisans, so the qualities of the material are never hidden, only revealed. The result is lighting that feels grounded and atmospheric in equal measure.

Now including two new finishes - weathered brass and black polished nickel - each bringing its own character to the range.

Where nature becomes the art.

As featured on Vogue Living, this Bellevue Hill home by Alexandra Kidd Interior Design was built around a simple idea: that nature, given the right materials and light, becomes art in itself. Anchored and weighty at its base, the house grows lighter in material and tone as it climbs through four levels towards the sky.

In the living room, our CASCATA Chandelier captures that same sense of movement. Its fluid glass panels, cast and shaped by hand, catch the light like water in motion, suspended within a sculptural brass frame that anchors the space without weighing it down.

A house that changes with the light, and a chandelier that never quite sits still.
