Our last weekend of the tents at Duckling Barn, Foxglove is available if anyone fancies a decadent night under canvas with fresh air and donkey cuddles ###

After a wonderful Summer we close for the season on Sunday and although we're fully booked on Saturday night, Foxglove is available tomorrow night. So if you need to take a break, to rest and recharge then get booking.

"We’ve just got back from our stay. We absolutely loved staying at Angharads place. Can’t wait to come back.
We loved getting to know the donkeys and ponies and their lovely dogs. This was something really special about the place.
The yurt is beautiful and a very comfortable bed so we had the best nights sleep.
Angharad made us dinner and it was absolutely delicious I would highly recommend booking this.
Angharad is so friendly and helpful we felt so welcome and at home.
We will definitely be back."

A brilliant day working with the team at The White House in Bridgend, learning to re create their menu, cooking from scratch to produce meals for 20 for all of the residents. We broke it down into stages with team work making the dream work . So much fun and a delicious veggie and lentil lasagne created for tea, minimal ingredients and packed with nourishment, coming in on budget. Thank you Partneriaeth Bwyd Penybont / Bridgend Food Partnership this is such an exciting project and I can’t wait for next week!!!!! we really can make a difference xx

Such a lovely morning making a variety of preserves at Morris Family at Ty Poeth Farm thanks to Food4Torfaen making Strawberry Jam, Lemon Curd, courgette salsa and a spicy tomato salsa using their organic fruit and veg. We’d planned this for last Friday and postponed due to the wildfires. So good to see the skies have cleared, rain is in the air and a significant drop in temperature, good for us, the veg and the cattle too ###

So much fun creating allotment Tomato, Chilli and Courgette Chutney with today, creating chutneys our way and then a brilliant cheese tasting session with Usk Valley Cheese Company . So many skills and chats and friendships made and brilliant to catch up with people from our previous courses…..there were two Silver The Dalemain World Marmalade Awards winners in the room from our marmalade session in January!!!!! you are amazing!!!
