✨ January used to make me feel physically sick. ✨

Not because I hated my job…
But because I knew exactly what was coming.

Early mornings.
Long days.
Spreadsheets, deadlines, and living for the weekend 🤮

I didn’t hate my career.
But working 60+ hours a week as a project manager — filling in spreadsheets, chasing updates, constantly racing the clock — wasn’t exactly the dream 💥

When I was little, I dreamed of being an artist 🧑‍🎨
Somewhere along the way, that dream quietly faded into the background 😞

Then my daughter was born… and everything changed.

My priorities shifted.
I wanted more time with her.
And I realised just how much I missed being creative.

So I made a decision that changed everything.

That’s when Popolo Ceramico was born — a personalised ceramics business created from my kitchen table 💡
I threw myself into capturing babies’ tiny handprints and footprints, designing my own fonts and characters, and creating beautiful keepsakes families would treasure forever 👣

The response was overwhelming.

Before long, I had my own studio…
A studio manager…
Three printers out capturing prints at events…
And still more work than we could manage 😅

That’s when I realised something bigger was possible.

I decided to franchise — to give other creative people the chance to build a flexible, fulfilling business of their own ✨
To work their own hours.
To be creative every day.
And to earn a good income while doing it.

Today, we have 30 franchisees covering over 60 territories across the UK — and we’re still growing 🚀

Leaving my old career was the best decision I ever made.
I’ve never missed a school assembly or sports day.
And I’ve built a successful business around school hours and holidays ❤️
