As we’ve had quite a few new faces join us recently, I thought it was the perfect time to introduce myself and share a little of the story behind Wax N Co. 🤍
Hi, I'm Alex, the face behind the candles, wax melts and home fragrances!
Wax N Co actually started as an idea to help my daughter while she was in between jobs. We thought we'd make a few products, book a couple of local markets and see where it took us. Before long, she found a new job, but by then I'd caught the bug!
After doing a few events together, my husband and I decided to keep it going, and Wax N Co became our little family venture.
For many years, our weekends were spent travelling all over the country with my daughter and her horse, competing at events. When that chapter came to an end, there was a bit of a void. Wax N Co came along at just the right time, giving us something new to pour our time, energy and passion into. Looking back now, I think it was exactly what we needed.
What began as a hobby quickly became my way of unwinding after work, a way to de stress and keep looking at the positives. There's something so therapeutic about creating beautiful home fragrances, even if my perfectionist side means I spend far longer than I'd should refining products, packaging and branding to make everything feel just right! Every little detail has been carefully considered, and the business has naturally evolved into what you see today.
I've now changed careers, creating more time for Wax N Co to grow. I absolutely love meeting so many wonderful people at markets, hearing your feedback, and creating products that help make your homes feel warm, welcoming and beautifully scented.
I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported us so far, whether you've made a purchase, stopped for a chat at a market, shared a post, or simply followed along on our journey. It really does mean the world to a small business.
I'm so excited to see where this journey takes us, and I can't wait to share what's still to come.
