🏡 Another beautiful home transformation taking shape!

There's something special about watching a renovation come together, and this recent flooring project is a perfect example! 🤎

Our team began by preparing the existing timber subfloor with plywood, creating a suitable foundation for the installation of Textures – Weathered Oak LVT in a stunning herringbone pattern.

The natural wood tones and timeless design have already made such a difference throughout the home!

There's still plenty of work underway at this property, but with the new flooring now in place, the homeowners can move on to the next exciting stages of their renovation.

We can already imagine how beautiful this home will look once it's all finished, and we're delighted to have played a part in its transformation! ❤️

Thinking about transforming your own home? Visit Castle Mews Carpets in Wrexham or Ruthin and discover our beautiful range of LVT flooring.

Okay… this one deserves a little attention! 👀🐆

Leopard print carpet on the stairs might not be the first thing that springs to mind when you think about a new carpet…

…but look at it! 😍

We absolutely love what our customer has done here. The combination of the patterned carpet, green walls, white woodwork and black handrail works so well together — and the finished staircase has so much character.

And that's one of the things we love about flooring. It doesn't always have to be plain, neutral or “safe”.

Sometimes you can have a bit of fun with it!

Whether you're after something bold like this, a classic plain carpet, a subtle pattern or something completely different, we've got plenty of options to help you find the right look.

Thinking about doing something a little different with your stairs? 👀

Stair runners can completely change the look and feel of a staircase, and there are so many different ways you can finish them.

From classic plain runners to patterned designs, different colours, bound edges and finishing touches such as stair rods — there’s plenty of choice when it comes to creating a staircase that feels right for your home.

We’ve put together a few examples of staircases we’ve worked on to give you some inspiration and show just how much you can do with a runner.

And if you have a runner you’ve fallen in love with, we also offer a taping service to have it neatly bound and finished, helping give it that really polished look.

Sometimes the stairs deserve a little attention too! 😊

Who says your flooring has to be plain?

For this recent customer installation, we fitted TEXTURES LIGHT OAK in Herringbone throughout this beautiful kitchen, dining and living Room.

The herringbone layout gives the room a much more distinctive finish, while the light oak tones keep everything feeling warm, natural and welcoming.

One of the things we love about LVT is the flexibility it gives you. From traditional wood effects to different laying patterns, there are plenty of ways to create something that feels a little more individual to your home.

And as you can see here, it doesn't always have to be the same old straight-laid wood effect! 😉

Thinking about LVT for your home? Come and have a look at the range in our showroom — we'd be happy to help you find the right style.

Think LVT is just wood effect? Think again! 👀

When you hear “LVT”, it’s easy to picture wood-effect planks or herringbone… but there’s a whole lot more to choose from!

For this recent installation, our customer went for something a little different — Colonia Fossil Limestone with Pearl Grout Stripes. And we think it looks fantastic. 🤩

The stone-effect finish gives the space a completely different feel, while still offering the practical benefits of LVT. It’s a great option if you want the look of natural stone without necessarily going down the traditional tile route.

And this is exactly why we always recommend having a look at the different options available before making a decision — sometimes the floor you didn’t know you wanted ends up being your favorite!

Have a look at the before & after photos to see just how much of a difference the new flooring has made. 👀
