A restaurant designed to look as good as it sounds 🍽️
At 74 Charlotte Street in Fitzrovia, London, Chris Bagot Architects has reimagined the interiors to create a warm, inviting setting for Ben Murphy's restaurant, bringing together natural materials, curved architectural details and a thoughtful approach to acoustics.
Armourcoat finishes feature throughout the interior, each contributing to the character and experience of the space:
• Acoustic Plaster Fine in Pale Taupe 003 creates a seamless ceiling surface, helping to absorb unwanted sound and manage reverberation without the need for visible acoustic panels.
• Clime Honed Clay Lime Plaster introduces a hand-applied Ombré effect across the walls, transitioning from terracotta to warm grey.
• Smooth Polished Plaster adds a natural stone-like quality to the staircase, with visible crushed marble bringing subtle depth to the surface.
