That is October done- Holiday covers, regular appointments, dog sitting, sunshine, rain and me occasionally doubting my career choice now the darker mornings and evenings are here!

Rupert is annoyed someone littered our lovely countryside, James however happily helped keep it tidy by doing his very own litter picking!
( there may have been an alternative reason for picking it up but we will pretend this was the case!😆)

A lovely few hours doing a dog sit on Saturday with Narla and Harvey- we had a lovely walk, both needed a wash off afterwards as they had so much fun in the puddles and then a bit of chill out time afterwards.

Last week I had a week in Devon celebrating my 50th! Not sure quite how I am that age already! Anyway I am embracing it and stocking up on the anti ageing creams! The Staff all had the best time and were thoroughly shattered with all the fun we had on the beach each day. The weather was gorgeous with sun most days and we kept the ice cream van in business for another week at least!

How many terriers are too many? Loved having my little friend for a sleepover, he may be a bit slower and hard of hearing nowadays but he still enjoyed his little walk in an evening and seeing The Staff again.

Dog sitting with Narla and Harvey on Saturday. A beautiful afternoon with them snoozing in the sunshine, doggy cuddles and sofa time.

Best way to spend a day off? Go for a hack around Windsor Park with Ros Smith Veterinary Physiotherapy . Thank you Wayside Stables for providing the horses!

Can’t believe we are now in September, August well and truly flew by keeping me busy with my regulars and back to back holiday covers! However I am enjoying the cooler temperatures but the mornings are already getting darker a reminder that it will soon be shorter days here in no time!
