Local wildlife provides endless inspiration to the artists and artisans that we work with - we have some wonderful examples of how our artists muses have been captured in clay, wool, glass and silver…

Say hello to Hetty and Huxley! 🐾

We’re so happy to be welcoming Meg’s handmade dog accessories to Handmade in Painswick. Meg designs and makes everything right here in Gloucestershire, for dogs of every shape and size, from miniature dachshunds to Great Danes.

We’re stocking her matching leads, collars and bandanas, so your pup can step out looking perfectly put together. 💛

Come and see them in our shop in Painswick or the Suffolks, Cheltenham, or find them online (link in bio).

A very warm welcome to Sarah | Semi-Abstract Artist who have joined our Handmade family! Sarah is exhibiting five stunning mixed media works with us in our gallery in Painswick and we are thrilled to have her.
Each piece carries a story of the viewers making, they are evocative and nostalgic somehow weaving their way into your memories as reminders of special times or places- but this is a kind of magic as they are not intended to be anywhere specific or of anything in particular. This in fact, is the immense power of abstract painting of this quality, as it somehow offers a sense of time or place unique to each person.
Come to the gallery and be transported to somewhere meaningful through the portal these pieces offer.
