Delivery & Installation Assistant
📍 Malta | Full-Time | Daytime Hours
Orienta is looking for a reliable, organised and well-mannered individual to join our delivery and installation team.
This is a customer-facing position, delivering and assembling furniture and home décor in our clients’ homes. For this reason, good conduct, professionalism, respect for clients and their property, and a positive attitude are essential.
Previous furniture assembly experience is an advantage, but not essential. We are happy to train the right person who is practical, willing to learn and takes pride in doing a job properly.
Your role will include:
* Loading, transporting, offloading and delivering furniture and home décor
* Assisting with and learning the professional assembly of furniture
* Working carefully and respectfully inside clients’ homes
* Maintaining a clean and organised working environment during installations
* Completing delivery paperwork and reporting missing, damaged or follow-up items
* Looking after company vehicles, tools and equipment
* Representing Orienta professionally when dealing with our clients
We are looking for someone who is:
* Well-mannered, trustworthy and of good conduct
* Organised, punctual and dependable
* Practical and comfortable using basic hand and power tools
* Physically capable of lifting and handling furniture
* Careful and attentive to detail
* Able to work well as part of a team
* Fluent in English
* Able to speak Maltese – preferred and considered a strong advantage
* Willing to learn and develop furniture assembly and installation skills
