A Home Beyond the Design 🏡🤎

A house can look beautiful in photos, but it's the people living in it that truly make it feel like home.

For Project Melina, it's nice to see how the different spaces come to life beyond just their design. From spending time around the house and enjoying the little corners, these are the everyday moments that give each space its own character.

After all, a home isn't just about the colours, materials or furniture that come together. It's also about the memories made, the routines that take place and the people who make the space their own.

Because at the end of the day, a home is meant to be lived in, not just admired. 🤍

Who says a kitchen has to be complicated to look good?

For Project Melina’s kitchen, it's all about keeping things clean, simple and practical without compromising on the overall look.

The soft neutral tones paired with a seamless cabinet design give the kitchen a clean and organised appearance, while the warm lighting beneath the upper cabinets adds a little warmth to the space.

What makes this kitchen stand out is the spacious island that doubles as a preparation area and a casual dining spot. With the built-in hob, additional storage and even a dedicated space for the w**e chiller, every little detail contributes to making the kitchen both functional and visually appealing.

Sometimes, you don't need bold colours or fancy finishes to make a statement. Just a well-balanced space where everything comes together naturally. 🏡

The Weeknd came to Singapore… and now the weekend is over. 😭

So before we go back to reality tomorrow, here’s something else worth looking at on repeat. 👀

A little compilation of some of our finished works. Carpentry, details and spaces we’ve had the pleasure of bringing to life. 🏡✨

The concert may be over,
the weekend may be over…

The Weeknd may be over… but these interiors are here to stay.

Back to work tomorrow everyone. 😂

A space made for slowing down, catching up and spending time together. 🤎

Down at Project Melina’s basement, the entertainment and dining area keeps things warm and inviting with a simple mix of light finishes and natural wood tones.

The entertainment corner feels cosy without being too enclosed, while the dining area keeps things open and spacious for everyone to gather around. Built-in shelving brings in a little more character to the space, with warm lighting highlighting the displays without making things feel too busy.

Whether it’s movie nights, having friends over or simply sitting down for a meal together, it’s a space that feels made for the moments in between. 🏡

Sometimes, keeping things simple is what makes a space feel complete.

Melina’s living room keeps to a soft and neutral palette, with warm wood tones adding just enough warmth to the space. The long TV console keeps everything looking clean and grounded, while the open display shelf adds a little character without making the space feel too busy.

With plenty of natural light coming through the full-height windows, the lighter finishes help the living room feel even more open and easy on the eyes.

Clean lines, warm tones and a space that just feels comfortable to come home to. 🏡

A Home Made to Feel Effortless 🏡

A thumbs up to a space finally made home. 👍🏻

For Melissa’s home, the approach was all about keeping things light, warm and easy to live in. A soft neutral palette runs throughout the space, paired with warm wood tones, clean carpentry and subtle lighting that brings a sense of calm without making the home feel too plain.

From the open living and dining spaces to the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and walk-in wardrobe, every area was designed to feel connected while still serving its own purpose. Storage is worked quietly into the home, while details like the glass blocks, open display niches, warm lighting and timber finishes add character without overwhelming the space.

It’s a home where the design doesn’t need to shout. The details, flow and everyday functionality speak for themselves.
