Hey everyone! 🖤
I figured it was time to introduce myself to those of you who are new here, and share a little about how I got to where I am today!
For those who don’t know me, I’m a tattoo artist with a love for all things creative, a little dark, and beautifully unconventional. Art has always been a huge part of who I am, but my love for tattooing started long before I ever picked up a machine.
When I was around 13, my dad and I used to talk about how one day we’d own a tattoo shop together. I remember sitting there coloring in his tattoos, never realizing just how much those little moments would shape my future.
Fast forward to 17, a friend of mine had a tattoo machine, and naturally, we started messing around with it. It didn’t take long for me to realize how much I loved the idea of putting my artwork on someone else’s skin. I was hooked.
For the next eight years, tattooing was something I continued doing at home as a hobby, but I always knew I wanted to take it further.
And when I say I was persistent, I mean persistent. 😂
Every time I’d go get tattooed by my own artist, I’d pick his brain, ask questions, and soak up whatever little tips and tricks he’d share with me. I was determined to get my foot in the door and land an apprenticeship.
Well, six years ago, he finally gave me that opportunity. And I haven’t looked back since.
What started as a childhood dream between me and my dad turned into something I get to wake up and do every day. And that’s something I’ll never take for granted.
These days, my heart definitely leans toward neo-traditional tattooing, but I also love fine line, florals, American traditional, and black and grey. I’m drawn to nature, bold designs, intricate details, and anything a little weird or outside the ordinary.
When I’m not tattooing, I’m usually painting, working on some new creative idea, or spending time with my family. Art has always been my outlet, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to share that part of myself with other people.
One of my favorite things about tattooing is getting to know the people who sit in my chair. Whether we’re creating something deeply meaningful, or just something you think looks badass, I genuinely love being part of bringing those ideas to life.
To everyone who has trusted me with their skin, supported my artwork, recommended me to a friend, or simply followed along on this journey, thank you.
That 13-year-old girl coloring in her dad’s tattoos would be pretty damn proud of where this journey has taken her. 🖤
Here’s to continuing to grow, creating art, and making a little more of those childhood dreams come true.
