Meet the eye behind every space we design, Starr, owner and principal designer of Live&Gather Co.

Before shifting into interior design full-time, Starr spent years in senior project management and operations across both the private and public sectors, leading teams of project managers and overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects. That background is exactly why she founded Live & Gather Co. in 2020, wanting to bring a steadier and more thoughtful approach to residential design, one built on clear direction, careful planning, and consistent follow-through at every single stage.

As a project management leader and Certified Residential Interior Designer, Starr brings a rare combination to this industry; the discernment to make beautiful decisions and the operational rigor to actually execute on them, from the first conversation all the way through the final reveal.

She listens first, plans with intention, and keeps creative vision and project oversight closely aligned throughout every home she touches.

Every home project starts differently. Some clients walk in with a clear picture already in mind, while others just know something isn't working, but can't quite name why yet.

Either way, we start in the same place: getting curious about who you are, how you live, and what makes your everyday truly yours. That discovery phase matters most, because a space has to be personal and intentional to actually work for the people who use it.
