Claussen’s Florist, along with several local florists and businesses are participating in the initiative today, Wednesday, October 14 💐 today we have choose to pass out bouquets to our Colchester residents next door at the Colchester Food Shelf.

We’re partnering with the Society of American Florists and Green Mountain Floral Supply to help spread kindness through the gift of fresh flowers.

The campaign is based on research showing that both giving and receiving fresh flowers can reduce stress and anxiety while boosting happiness and overall life satisfaction. Participants receive two bouquets: one to enjoy themselves and experience an instant mood boost, and a second to pass along to a friend, family member, or even a complete stranger. The goal is to create a ripple effect of kindness throughout the community.
