Before I ever started designing homes, I spent 10+ years working behind the scenes as a C-level Executive Assistant managing complex schedules, anticipating needs, coordinating moving pieces, and making the impossible feel effortless.
Turns out, those skills translate pretty beautifully into interior design.
Design is creative, but the business of design is so much more than creativity and that’s where my background has become one of my biggest assets.
Design may be the creative part, but there are a lot of moving pieces behind a successful project. I know how to build systems that keep everything moving.
Years of managing calendars, priorities, logistics, and competing deadlines taught me how to keep a million little details from becoming a million little problems.
As an executive admin, anticipating needs was part of the job. I bring that same mindset to design, spotting potential roadblocks before they become issues.
From the big-picture vision down to the tiny finishing touches, I’m wired to catch what others might miss and make sure it all feels intentional.
Great design isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about creating a thoughtful process, staying ahead of the details, and making the entire experience feel seamless.
Turns out, my “before design” career was preparing me for this all along. 💜
