Mood Board Monday✨ A bathroom with a vintage vibe and a 1970s color palette.

This bathroom had a completely different layout when we started. By utilizing the space more efficiently, we were able to create a luxurious bathroom and a fourth bedroom in this upstairs primary retreat.

The moody forest-scape wallpaper sets the scene, while warm wood, terracotta floors, and rich molasses tile bring depth and balance. Brass fixtures add polish and the tile-lined archway makes the transition into the wet room feel extra special.

Color doesn’t have to shout to make a statement. Sometimes, an earthy palette and beautiful mix of materials say everything.

Parrish DeLapp, the bespoke textile and wall covering line I co-design with Nancy Parrish, on full display at Belle by Ashley DeLapp. 💗

and I started Parrish DeLapp because we both love color. The collection spans textiles, apparel, and wall coverings, all digitally printed in the United States, so the same pattern can move from a pillow to an accent chair to a full wall without losing a bit of its richness.

This office is a good example of why I lean on our own line so often. When you design the pattern yourself, you know exactly how it'll read at scale, how the color will shift across fabric versus grasscloth, and how to build a room around it instead of just dropping it in. That's the difference between decorating and intentional maximalism.

Life is short. You should be a little obsessed with the home you come home to.

The difference a designer makes isn’t just making a space pretty; it’s knowing what’s worth investing in, what will stand the test of time, how every room should work together, and how to make the finished space feel completely you.

✨ Repeat your colors so the prints feel related
✨ Pair structured prints with organic ones

Mood Board Monday ✨ Color doesn’t have to shout to make a statement.

For this kitchen, deep plum cabinetry, zellige backsplash, and warm amber tile bring richness to a backdrop of white oak and soft limewash. Brass details add a little glow, while layered textures keep the palette interesting.

It’s a quieter approach to color, with plenty of personality. If you’re hesitant to embrace color at home, deeper, muted tones can be a beautiful place to start.
