Atelier Interior Design

Atelier Interior Design Atelier Interior Design is a full service residential & commercial interior design firm in Denver, Co As interior designers in Denver, we’ve got it figured out.

Your home should reflect your life. Your designers should be both fun and fresh. The end result should be exceptional design that is not just about frou-frou luxury, but a gorgeous necessity. We travel. We cherish family. We understand independent, modern lifestyles. We laugh – a lot. We explore color and neutrals, texture and light. We always strive for harmony. And we’re not just home decorators; we love working with commercial projects, too.

Just a little organized chaos. ✨

Every Atelier project begins with layers: textures, colors, materials, and a little bit of “what if we tried this?”. The best spaces don’t happen by accident. They’re built one thoughtful detail at a time.

The bathtub has entered its main character era.

Gone are the days of treating the tub like a background extra. A standalone tub is a chance to create a moment: sculptural, serene, dramatic, or just a little indulgent.

Because a bathroom should do more than get you ready for the day. It should give you somewhere to escape from it. The only question is… are we soaking for 20 minutes or pretending we’re at a five-star hotel? (The answer is probably both.)

We’re not here to tell you what you want to hear. We’re here to make sure your home works beautifully for the way you actually live. (Consider it tough love, but with better fabrics.) 🥰

Proof that “family-friendly” doesn’t have to mean boring.

Lola Way House was designed for a young family with big personalities, busy days, and three little ones who were definitely going to test every surface. So we brought in the color, the curves, the texture, and the drama… then made sure everything could actually live up to real life.

Pretty? Yes. Precious? Absolutely not.

Behind every beautifully designed space is a team of people with strong opinions, questionable coffee habits, and a shared obsession with the details.

Meet the Atelier team: the creatives, problem-solvers, and design lovers who bring every project to life. We’re here for the big ideas, the tiny details, and the moments where everything finally clicks. (And yes, we will debate a paint color for longer than most people think is reasonable.)

The powder bath: the tiny room with the biggest ego.

It’s where we put the wallpaper we were “too nervous” to use, the lighting fixture that might be a little extra, and the color that would have caused a family meeting in the kitchen.

Translation? It’s the room where design gets to misbehave. Because your guests only spend a few minutes in there… but they’ll remember it.

We gathered the team to answer the question everyone is afraid to ask:
Which design trends are actually worth the hype… and which ones need a quiet retirement?

Spoiler: we had thoughts.

Because loving design means appreciating creativity, but it also means knowing when a trend has officially overstayed its welcome.

A closer look at The Walnut & Wine Kitchen, where every detail had a reason to be there.

From the richness of the oxblood cabinetry to the warmth of the walnut tones, this space proves that a kitchen can be bold without feeling overwhelming.

The unexpected details are what make it: the wavy sink, the sculptural lighting, the wallpaper hiding behind glass cabinetry. Because the best kitchens always have a few surprises.

Functional? Yes. Beautiful? Obviously. A little dramatic? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

We have strong opinions about a lot of things. Interiors, color, pattern, and apparently where to eat dinner in Denver. Here is our completely opinionated Designer’s Guide to Colorado Dinners.

Benzina: Simple, delicious Italian food inside an old gas station. Yummy pasta, bread, and pizza in a space that makes it all taste better.

Ash’Kara: Fun design and great Mediterranean food. The kind of place you go for the food and stay for the atmosphere.

Lucina: Delicious Spanish food in a lively, well run restaurant right in our neighborhood. A local favorite for good reason.

Le French: Fabulous French food with a Senegalese twist from two sisters who are doing something really special. Two locations and both are worth it.

El Five: Always makes us feel like we are in a big city. Employee owned, interesting menu, and a vibe that delivers every single time.

Le Colonial: A special occasion spot with French Vietnamese food that is as interesting as it is delicious.

The Wolf’s Tailor: Another special occasion must. The service and food are both absolutely top notch.

Kawa Ni: A non-traditional Japanese Izakaya with really nice design, a great patio, and a bar that is perfect for two. One of our favorites.

Alma Fonda Fina: High end Mexican with warm moody vibes and food that has taken over the Denver and Boulder restaurant scene in the best way possible.

Point Easy: A City Park neighborhood gem with clean design and food and drinks that are genuinely outstanding. Sit at the bar for apps or settle in for a full dinner. Both are the right call.

Two Hands: Warm woods, great design, and a wide variety of dishes that are all delicious. A reliably wonderful night out.

The Ethiopian Restaurant: A family favorite and a truly special experience. Fair warning, you eat with your hands. The food is so delicious it is absolutely worth it. They do not even have a website and they do not need one.

Denver, you really never disappoint at dinner either.
