Autumn Dawn Design

Joy is the truest form of happiness. Surrounded by this community, Interior Design Society and Interior Design Society, Columbus Chapter has brought me so much joy. The beauty of the hive buzzing this week: sharing in a joint vision in design, expanding our businesses, creating vision for local chapters, and most of all, supporting one another. My heart is overwhelmed with gratitude.

Last night, we at Autumn Dawn Design brought home a 1st Runner-up Designer of the Year award. I say we because, as designers know, we can’t do it alone. The project, Winter Berry Jewel, was a teen hangout space in the entertainment area of a full basement project. The power of a good team can never be ignored on these projects!

Thank you to everyone this week who loved, inspired, encouraged, created, laughed, envisioned, and most of all believed especially our Interior Design Society staff y’all outdid yourselves at this conference!!

This is what binds all people and all creation together—the gratuity of the gift of being. —MATTHEW FOX

What a beautiful Interior Design Society, Columbus Chapter Launch we had on Wednesday. The design scene here in Columbus is an impressive, talented community! Thank you to all our new members, our Interior Design Society team; we couldn't do any of this without you, and of course, our Columbus Board- you guys rock!!! 🎸 Thank you, Hamilton Parker for sponsoring our official Launch every detail was amazing!!

There are seasons in life when you look back and think, "How did I do that?" The season of life when you reflect and look back to realize that the dreams and goals are happening; the things you only hoped for are coming to light. The discernment of truly feeling fulfilled, surrounded by people who inspire the hell out of you, and your heart feels fortunate to breathe the same air. The moments of reflection are sublime. GRATEFUL for the love, energy, talent, and inspiration this community gives so freely. THANK YOU ❤️

“Ladies who lunch” used to mean women with time to spare and tables to be seen at. We’re taking the phrase back.
Join us at High Point Market for Ladies That Lunch: The Power Lunch Edition, a candid conversation about building a business, taking risks, creating opportunity, and defining success on your own terms.

Moderated by Antonio DeLoatch, the conversation brings together Juliana Ewer, Nicole Culler, Jewel Marlowe, and Autumn Pochiro for an afternoon centered on the real decisions, pivots, and experiences behind building a career in design.

The experience will feature tablescapes dressed in Antonio’s SunThreads fabric collection and a format created for personal connection, meaningful conversation, and a different kind of power lunch.

Monday, October 19 | 11:30 AM-1:00 PM
Crystorama Showroom | IHFC H241, 2nd Floor

Sponsored by Studio Designer | Mydoma & SunThreads

Save the date and join us at High Point Market.

These amazing clients were my very first clients 10 years ago when the dream of AUTUMN DAWN DESIGN began. Together we have created a home that reflects their lives: the dreams, the work, the success, and the beauty of a life well lived. They are also some of my most beloved friends; we have experienced life together, from our kids in elementary through high school to now, college 🎓. I am so grateful to design a life with the most loving friends and clients. Also, the beloved clients we moved cross-country with last week. It's the clients and friends we have had the privilege of designing for through the different phases of life; thank you, each of you; you are loved.

We had the most beautiful summer. A piece of my heart flew away today to her Junior year at The Ohio State. Some days I still forget they are grown, and all I want to do is be mommy. My prayers and worries will never cease for you, beloved. These days fly by furiously fast; stop to take in the moments you can never get back. Enjoy it all: the good, the bad, the stressful- everything is a lesson. Remember to show more kindness; it's never a weakness, especially to those who need a little love. Strong women have boundaries; they protect their peace and keep their hearts kind. Have a beautiful year; you are loved. Xoxo💋
