This is where the vision starts taking shape.

We’re on site at our new Timbergrove project, walking through the framing and making sure everything we’ve planned is translating into the space the way we intended.

Being involved from the beginning means we’re there as the home takes shape, keeping the bigger design vision in mind every step of the way.

Lots more to come from this one!

One of the biggest shifts we’re seeing in kitchen design? The day pantry.

At our West University project, the clients wanted to keep much of the kitchen’s existing layout and functionality, but add easier access to the things they reach for every day.

While the back pantry will hold the extras, this day pantry sits right in the kitchen with pullouts for cereal, snacks, spices and all the everyday essentials, especially helpful in a busy house with kids.

It’s a small change in layout that makes a big difference in how the kitchen functions day to day.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the artistry behind a product we love to specify.

We recently welcomed Shannon from Porter Teleo into the studio to share more about their hand-painted wallcoverings, from the production process to the range of customizable patterns and substrates available.

And now I’m even more inspired. I’m currently selecting one of their wallcoverings for the ceiling of my own living room, and I can’t wait to share where we land.

Stay tuned!

⚠️ Warning: the following photos contain some seriously incredible edible art.

I first met Chef Kyle Connaughton at an industry event in Mexico and was immediately captivated by the passion and artistry he brings to food. I told myself then that I would make it to SingleThread in Healdsberg, CA one day, and it absolutely lived up to the promise.

From the farm, tended by his wife Katina, to the 10-course meal, every detail felt thoughtful, intentional, and completely its own experience.

A three Michelin star restaurant and one I cannot recommend enough. This was so much more than dinner.

Bringing an Italian summer home to Texas.

Inspired by our client’s time in Italy, this guest bath layers warm stone, rich color, aged brass, and intricate pattern to create a space that feels transportive without ever feeling themed.
