"Junque Genius Studio & Marketplace" is a seasonal home decor shop. Owner Denise Bowen paints vintage and antique furniture, refinishes kitchen cabinets and walls with artistic faux effects such as, raised plaster, stenciling, foiling and she collaborates with other design professionals on custom projects for home or commercial spaces. Denise displays repurposed, repainted furniture, art and home

décor at her new studio located in the Good's Plumbing building (formerly, Spear's Plumbing) at 524 Oak Street, downtown Irwin, next to the Moose Lodge. Hours are 10-6 daily, closed Sunday.

We are participating in the street market on Saturday in front of our History Center. We will have our Bogg Beach Bag raffle basket tickets available (1 for $5 or 10 for $20) along with treasures from our center you may snag for home. Most items will be had for a donation! Be sure to check it out.

This sweet children’s chair got a complete re-do to replicate its exact, original vintage pink color. All the wood joints were meticulously re-glued, Then the piece was stripped, sanded, and carefully color-matched to get its nostalgic look. A light distressing where time would have naturally kissed was the crowning touch. Top coated with a progression of gloss, knocked down to flat in stages, she’s as tough as she ever was. 💕
