Crème Brûlée Donuts
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a donut pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
While the donuts bake, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon (if using) in a small bowl.
Once the donuts have cooled slightly, dip the tops in the sugar mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
Serve immediately for a crispy, sweet treat with a crème brûlée flair.
