Because why should office bathrooms be boring? 🐻

At Airbnb's San Francisco headquarters, unexpected details bring the spirit of adventure into even the most surprising spaces. These woodland-inspired bathrooms are a reminder that great design can be functional, imaginative, and a little unexpected.

We have to ask: bear or raccoon? Which one gets your vote?

A little vacation feeling, right at home. ✨

For this well-traveled couple, we wanted to create a home that feels like a welcoming home base in the city, with the warmth and ease of a getaway.

A thoughtful mix of wood, leather, brass, and ochre accents brings warmth to the existing spaces, while carefully incorporating the couple’s art and treasured pieces makes the design feel personal and collected. The result is a mid-century modern foundation with contemporary details and a touch of understated luxury.

One favorite detail: the capiz shell artwork, positioned above the future piano, catches the natural light and moves subtly with the bay breeze.

What makes a home feel like a getaway to you: warm materials, meaningful art, or a space made for entertaining? Tell us in the comments.

Inspired by the layered interiors of London boutique hotels, this home was designed to feel glamorous, playful, and full of unexpected moments.

While the main circulation spaces remain more neutral, individual rooms bring in bold color and personality. Repeating accent colors throughout the home create visual connections between spaces, while allowing each room to have its own distinct character.

The result is a home that feels cohesive without feeling too coordinated, and sophisticated without taking itself too seriously.

Which approach do you prefer: a home where every room feels connected, or spaces that each have their own personality?

Would you have guessed these picture frames were hiding storage? 👀

At County View, Edam found a way to turn a practical need into part of the design, creating hidden storage behind framed artwork in the powder room.

It’s one of those details you might not notice at first, but once you know it’s there, you can’t unsee it.

Be honest: would you have guessed?

A hidden detail we love in the County View kitchen 👀

This pop-up outlet keeps the island clean and uninterrupted, but is there when you need it.

Would you put this in your kitchen?

A little piece of Nick’s Cove to take home with you. 💙

Someone once reached out to us after getting married at Nick’s Cove. They were looking for this exact wallpaper to bring a small reminder of the place into their home, calling it a “funny little link” to one of their favorite places.

That idea has always stuck with us.

For this bathroom vanity at Nick’s Cove, we refreshed the space with whimsical teal wallpaper featuring ocean creatures, updated paint, new lighting, and styling, completely shifting the mood of the room.

Swipe to see the before → after.

Would you bring a little piece of a favorite place into your home?

A third project together is the ultimate compliment. ✨

When a client invites you back to design their home for the third time, you know you’ve built something pretty special.

For this full-home design project, designer Marcy worked with Katharine + Craig to honor the character of their unique modern home while creating spaces that feel warm, elegant, and deeply personal.

From the big design moments to the smallest details, every choice was made with intention, resulting in a home that feels refined, timeless, and completely their own.

And after three projects together, we’re especially grateful for the trust behind it all. 🤍

Katharine + Craig, thank you for continuing to invite us into your homes and your design journey.

What makes a house feel like home to you: the big moments or the little details?

Would you believe this is the same primary bedroom? 👀

This Redwood City bedroom went from beige and traditional to bold, layered, and full of personality.

For this primary bedroom transformation, we introduced deep teal walls, botanical wallpaper, an upholstered bed, natural textures, and layered textiles to completely change the mood of the space.

The biggest lesson? Don't be afraid of color. A deeper wall color can actually make a bedroom feel warmer, cozier, and more inviting.

Be honest: which version would you choose, the BEFORE or AFTER? 👇
