There’s something truly special about harvest season in Sonoma County.

Living amongst the vineyards, we get a front-row seat to the changing seasons, and fall is one of our favorites. It’s a beautiful reminder of why we love calling W**e Country home. The natural beauty and the connection to the land are a constant source of inspiration, both in life and in design.

A little pause before the busy season ahead.

With a full month of installations on the horizon, I took some time to slow down, recharge, and soak in the natural beauty of Limantour Beach at Point Reyes National Seashore.

There’s something so grounding about stepping away from the day-to-day, breathing in the coastal air, and finding inspiration in the textures, colors, and quiet beauty of nature.

There’s something about a beautifully placed potted plant that can completely transform a space.

We like to think of potted plants, trees, and topiaries as another layer of a home’s design; a layer that can soften the architecture, create a natural transition between indoors and out, and bring life to spaces that need just a little extra something.

Excited to be attending Design Healdsburg this October!

Taking place October 1–4, Design Healdsburg brings together designers, makers, artists, and creatives for four days celebrating design, craftsmanship, and the incredible creative community here in W**e Country.

I’m especially looking forward to being part of it this year as I prepare to open the doors to my new Healdsburg studio very soon.

And on October 3, I’ll be at Maison Smith for their special book signing event — another wonderful reason to spend the day in Healdsburg, connect with the design community, and soak up all the inspiration.
