✨ You don’t have to be a lighting designer to nail this.

Here’s the job site trick we use to visualize fixture scale before anything gets ordered — and all you need is a tape measure and blue tape.

Mark your tape at your target fixture height — here we tested 16” to 22” to compare scale. Then hold the tape measurer up against the wall and snap a photo.

This is especially useful for spaces taller than you are.

📸 Pro tip: Take a clean photo of the area first before you step in. Then you can go back into Canva or your photo editor of choice, drop your fixture options onto that clean image at the right scale, and actually see your choices — no CAD, no design degree required.

Solo on site? Phone on a stand with a timer works perfectly.
