🏆 THE JACK — WHAT A SATURDAY!!! 🏆
Alrighty, y’all… Saturday was an ABSOLUTE whirlwind! We started our day at 3:45 AM and didn’t stop until AFTER awards! What. A. DAY!!! 🙌🔥
Mother Nature decided to join the party, too! 🌧️ We had rain on and off throughout the day, and at one point, the Jack Daniel’s crew had us prepared in case we needed to evacuate. They did an AMAZING job making sure every single team was safe! Thankfully, the weather wasn’t nearly as bad as predicted, and we just cooked through those rain showers!
Now, let’s talk TURN-INS! 😅
Well… we made them ALL! 😂 But chicken? Chicken did NOT chicken! 🐔🤦♀️ We were SO focused on Cook’s Choice that we neglected that poor bird. BIG. TIME. It looked like a couple of rookies did chicken! Everything else, though? We were happy with, and that’s all we could ask for!
🏆 AND THEN THIS HAPPENED… 1ST PLACE COOK’S CHOICE AT THE JACK!!! 🏆 with a 180 perfect score...at the Jack, A PERFECT SCORE!
Y’ALL!!! Out of 57 teams, our Snake River Farms Prime Filet Mignon tacos took FIRST PLACE!!! 🌮🥩🔥
Let me tell you what we turned in because these little tacos were something SPECIAL!
We created an open-faced tenderloin taco, starting with a tortilla lined with roasted poblano pepper. We sprinkled cheese over the poblano, layered on that beautiful Snake River Farms Prime Filet Mignon, added a little more cheese, our homemade poblano-jalapeño crème, fresh cilantro, and finished it off with pickled onions!
And apparently, the judges agreed!!!
We actually had A PERFECT SCORE and took FIRST PLACE!!! 🏆 Huge congratulations to Texas Oil Dust LLC and his team on their 2nd-place finish! What an honor to be right there with y’all!
🥩 BRISKET — 33RD PLACE!
Our brisket landed us 33rd place out of 99 teams, and let me tell you… WE ARE HAPPY WITH THAT!!! When you’re competing against some of the absolute BEST PITMASTERS IN THE WORLD, every single placement means something!
And speaking of Snake River Farms… their products are absolutely phenomenal! From our winning Prime Filet Mignon to that beautiful Gold brisket, we couldn’t be happier with the quality! ❤️🥩

To stand on that stage, hear our name called, and bring home a FIRST PLACE from THE JACK DANIEL’S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP INVITATIONAL BARBECUE… MAN!!! There are just no words!
We came here to compete, to learn, to soak up every second, and to stand alongside the best in the world. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine we’d be bringing home a FIRST PLACE!
God is SO GOOD!!! 🙏❤️ All the glory goes to HIM!
