If you can spot our style from across the room, we failed.

We marry our client’s style with the style of the home. Equal dance, and we listen.

We can go neutral, or we go neutral with a pop… (hellllllo world map mural for the kids).

Or we simply don’t go neutral at all (and use your family’s vintage chairs!)

We let a spark of sheer joy (aka THE wallpaper pick mid-meeting) build a room.

Or, we hear you want a rad gallery wall and have art of all sizing so I spend a day on a ladder mapping this beauty out. And I’m scared of heights!

We build for your lifestyle… like this second home in Sonoma that is used for entertaining and weekend getaways. Statement sofa for the win!

While we also love to design around primary homes, like this classic San Francisco home that serves every purpose midweek to the weekend. We get to know how the family lives!

We also act as a marriage therapist, getting to know what the wife likes, what the husband likes… and whose vote matters most😉

And without fail, you get what lights you up. Your home reflects you. That is what matters.

Some luxuries don’t announce themselves. They just quietly change how your whole day feels. ✨ This primary bath in St. Helena is full of them: heated marble floors for those cool Napa mornings, a skylight right inside the shower, integrated marble sinks that show off this beautiful natural marble slab, zellige tiled shower walls with barely-there grout lines, plaster walls that glow like late-afternoon light, a deep soaking tub, and two private toilet rooms (his and hers, because marriage is a partnership 😉). And my personal favorite? The window behind the tub that fogs for privacy at the push of a button. Yes, really. The kind of details you won’t spot in the first glance, but you’ll feel them every single day. That’s the whole point. Swoon.

Gallery walls for kids. Let them show off who they are. Our design strategy is to create a mash-up of frames with their favorite hobbies & obsessions, using high quality (standard size) frames WITH affordable art … because let’s be real, what’s loved at age 9 is can be totally uncool for them at age 11😂. Favorite source for sourcing affordable (even downloadable!) art? Etsy, Society 6, PSTR studio and Artfully Walls. My favorite sources, go check them out🙌🏻

A little WFH, ‘get some s**z done’, type of nook. Carved out of an angled dead space, this little nook gives way to setting up a laptop, spreading out a to-do list with some bills to pay, and can get swiftly sealed off with a gorgeous pocket door when we want to hide the mess. From a design POV, we made it a moment instead of letting it stay as a (sad!) white drywall almost-closet.

This kitchen deserves its own love language, honestly. 🍊 That wet bar’s backsplash — the confetti of terrazzo squares in dusty rose, sage, and charcoal — was the moment we knew this whole project was going to have a pulse, and also the moment a tile guy politely asked if we were sure during the dry lay. (We were sure.) Design tip from this one: if you’re scared of a bold pattern, put it somewhere you don’t have to commit to full-time — like this off-set wet bar, a powder room (this house has two crazy fun wallpapered ones!), or a laundry nook. Low stakes, high payoff. Then you walk into the main kitchen and the ceiling just opens up, those vaulted beauties wrapped in wood and that triangle window framing the trees like it was painted there on purpose (it wasn’t, we just got lucky and I’m taking full credit anyway). Five stools lined up at that quartzite island because good kitchens are built for company, not just cooking. This is what happens when a client trusts us to mix a little fun with a lot of warmth. All that warm natural light doesn’t hurt either. ☀️🍞

Snaps from August, with love xo

Baby Hayes is almost 1 and this year flew by with all the firsts of this little squish.

I’m a wallpaper pusher but these two different wallpapers intersecting in this family room x breakfast nook is sheer perfection.

A project almost fully wrapped, and this blue paint leap of faith paid off in full.

Slab yard ju**ie. Can’t stop, won’t stop.

Lennox had a solo scene during the local theater Shrek performance and this mama heart exploded with pride.

This local Sonoma project is texture and interest, it’s going to be so good!

A weekend at Lake Almanor with some of our favorite humans was a reset for the soul… and one last hurrah of summer days before school started.

New build in Kentfield and the kickoff mood board direction x initial tile/wallpaper concepts are just.so.good!

I love when my workday gets broken up by scooter visits from my two older gals. Love having a studio space right off the downtown Sonoma Square.

Three bathrooms and two kiddo rooms coming right up! I love a client project that is just down the street from me, and I just adore this sweet family.

Girls started school and crushed it. Off to the races!

A partial install in SF and this boys bedroom is the coolest. Hoping to get this family fully moved in by the end of this month, waiting on the stragglers of furniture to arrive🙏🏻

A wallpaper dream in another SF project. 8 rooms total being wallpapered and I’m (not so) patiently waiting for the furniture to be ready! (Summary of every interior designer out there😂)

This cheeky monkey, always covered in food and ALWAYS smiling.

I love a classic San Francisco home, can’t wait for this beautiful kitchen and living room/dining room to be complete!

Lime wash across a full home. SO YUMMY. Goodbye gross kid handprints up the stairs, hellllooooo beautiful.

Soccer is full go. Both kids. Dad as a coach. Tatum working her t**h off on her ball handling skills, six and spunky.

This San Carlos new build is fully complete, family is moved in… countdown to the photoshoot. This little girls room, swooooon.

And a large sample box is always more than a box. Race car races… off to September. Let’s gooooo!

There’s a moment in every home reno job site tour when you catch yourself walking the same path the family will walk every single day — past the dining room where birthdays will get celebrated, into the kitchen where everyone will inevitably hang around, and then past the island into the family room where everyone ends up piled on the couch by 8pm 🏡 That’s exactly what we were chasing with this Tiburon project: sight lines that let you stand in one room and feel connected to the next, finishes that speak the same language without repeating themselves, and just enough contrast (hello, moody map wallpaper 🗺️) to keep every space feeling like its own little chapter. We layered rich darker woods against warm whjtes, let brass do some quiet connective work room to room, and made sure the kitchen island could make a statement✨ The best homes don’t feel like a set of matching rooms — they feel like one continuous story, and this one reads front to back exactly the way this family lives it.
