This Oakland home belongs to a couple that was ready to reclaim their space again. Former kids’ bedrooms took on new purposes. The whole house got a fresh chapter.

We wove in their existing collection of midcentury furniture, art, and antique maps while bringing in new pieces that felt luxurious and unpretenious. Warm, considered, and deeply personal.

It’s Showcase Season, and I always get a little nostalgic for this “coming of age” room we designed for the Le Petit Trianon Showcase.

We asked ourselves- in that tender fleeting time entering into teen hood, what would my sanctuary have looked like? What did I need? Joy. Space. Positivity. To be surrounded by things I loved. A reminder that each day is a new opportunity to be a different “me”.

So that’s what we created through design: A neon sign glowing on the landing. Iridescent beetles crawling up the entry walls. A shared bedroom wrapped in a heliconia canopy and teal fringe, with dichroic rope swings just begging to be used.

Six years later and this one will always make us smile. is back in San Francisco through May 25. Go see what this year’s designers dreamed up!

We are so honored to be part of the 2026 AIA East Bay Home Tours alongside !

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 30th, 10am to 4pm. This is a rare chance to walk through a project we’re incredibly proud of and hear the story behind every decision.

This 1960s East Bay midcentury was completely reimagined for modern family living — grounded, joyful, and distinctly Californian. An Architectural Digest feature and now an AIA Home Tour. We’d love to see you there!

Tickets at the link in bio. Limited availability.

AAPI Design Alliance Inaugural Gala. I am simply floating!! Beaming with belonging and pride! A magical evening that I will never forget 💚✨

This was a culmination of all of our collective work to build this community from scratch.

What started as an idea five years ago became something so much bigger than any of us could have imagined. Our SF chapter launched just two and a half years ago. And here we are!

I am so incredibly proud of and every single person and brand who showed up, believed in this, and helped build it.

And we are just getting started ✨

This San Francisco living room captures the spirit of the client so well- effortlessly chic, inviting, warm. A soft, airy palette with brass accents and a nod to the bohemian keep it interesting. Custom millwork with integrated brass rods hold floating shelves.

Behind The Design ✨ Sometimes the best design details are the ones hiding in plain sight.

This staircase presented a classic SF challenge. An awkward ceiling line beneath the stairs that needed to disappear. So we designed custom millwork to hide it completely and turn what could have been an eyesore into a seamless, intentional detail.

That’s usually where the magic happens if I’m being honest. The constraints are what push us toward the most creative solutions. Give me a challenge over a blank canvas any day!

Vegas for the first time with the kids. Safe to say they were impressed! 🌺

We spent the weekend celebrating a dear friend’s birthday and I have to say.. as a designer, Las Vegas never stops being fascinating. The scale, the detail, the sheer commitment to creating an experience around every corner. The Wynn alone could keep me busy for hours.

Good food, great friends, and a little magic. The best kind of weekend!

The details are where a kitchen really comes alive.

That 3D tumbling block backsplash tile is one of my favorite decisions in this whole project. The angles in the tile recall the angled wall the sink is on. And then the sink with a brass pull-down faucet paired with a dedicated hot and cold water dispenser, all set against that custom Roman shade on the window above.

A custom kitchen isn’t just about cabinets and countertops. It’s about hundreds of small choices working together so seamlessly that you don’t even notice them. But everything has a home, the programming of each drawer and shelf have a purpose, and you just feel at home.
