The secret to this vintage-looking art? Tissue paper.

I painted over thrifted canvases, printed vintage images onto tissue paper, and attached them with Mod Podge. The canvas texture shows through, and those little wrinkles give each piece that aged, collected feel I love.

Adding fence building to my resume.

I wanted to hide our work equipment without losing the natural look of the woods. So I collected fallen branches and started stacking.

This project took 20 hours, stretches 50 feet long and stands 4 feet high—but the part I didn’t expect was how therapeutic it would be.

Something practical turned into a beautiful backdrop that feels like it’s always belonged here. And seeing the deer walk alongside it makes me love it even more.
