With the festive season approaching faster than anticipated, looking ahead is essential to ensuring your home is beautifully dressed for the celebrations. Our pre-Christmas production timeline is well underway and key seasonal cut-off dates are rapidly approaching.

While custom shutters have now officially closed for the year, we still have a brief window of opportunity remaining for soft furnishings. Custom curtain orders will close just after Melbourne Cup Day on November 4th, leaving less than 2 weeks to secure your fabrics. Meanwhile, exterior awnings and precision roller blinds will follow at the end of November.

To ensure your bespoke window treatments are crafted, installed and perfected in time to welcome family and friends, we invite you to connect with our team this week. Let us guide you through our textile collections, precise measurements and tailored quotations.

Send us a direct message today to book your consultation and secure your place on our pre-Christmas schedule.

Perched high among the treetops in South Yarra, this apartment invites the vibrant colours of nature to take centre stage.
We chose a soft, whitewashed textile by to complement the striking black window frames, gently framing the lush greenery beyond without competing with the view.
Inside, a palette of organic tones creates a calming backdrop, allowing carefully chosen pops of colour and statement artwork to shine. Beautifully tactile textiles add warmth, softness and depth, bringing a sense of harmony between the interiors and the leafy outlook.

Transform the mood of your living space by mastering how daylight enters your home. Harsh, direct sun can overwhelm a room, washing out textures and creating uncomfortable glares where you want to relax or unwind.

Our carefully curated sheer and filtering curtains are designed to catch and diffuse incoming rays, turning bright midday light into a soft, ambient glow. This gentle diffusion not only protects your interior furnishings from fading but also introduces a calm, sophisticated atmosphere that enhances every detail of your decor—from rich textiles to warm wood tones. Experience how thoughtful light control can completely redefine the comfort and aesthetic balance of your daily environment.

What room in your home could use a softer, more inviting atmosphere? Reach out to our team today to explore bespoke window furnishing options tailored to your space!

Privacy without losing the view 🌳

For this project in Elwood, our client's brief was simple but specific: allow privacy from the street and driveway, without losing the beautiful old trees lining their street near the canal.

The answer? Norman Honeycomb Shades in a light-filtering weave — soft, diffused light during the day, privacy from onlookers, and still that leafy outlook they love.

Corded and fully adjustable, these blinds can sit fully down, fully up, or anywhere in between — so the bottom half stays private while the top half frames the treetops. Practical, versatile, and safe to operate for daily ease.

Sometimes the best solution isn't blocking the view — it's controlling exactly how much of it you let in.

Some homes ask for every last detail to be considered.
For this beautiful Bayside project, we completed the window furnishings throughout the entire home, working alongside to help their client settle in and make the space feel complete.
And then there was this window.
A remarkable 6.4-metre curtain drop, falling from the top-storey window all the way to the lower-ground entry foyer. It was the installation that kept us working well into the evening, making sure every detail sat exactly as it should.
Because when you’ve considered an entire home, the final details deserve just as much care as everything that came before them.
When you save the best for last, this is what it looks like.

There is an inherent poetry in how architectural lines meet natural light. In this serene attic sanctuary, custom plantation shutters are expertly crafted to mirror the unique angles of the vaulted ceiling, creating a seamless rhythm of structural symmetry.

Beyond their striking visual alignment, these precision-engineered louvres offer absolute command over light and airflow. They diffuse the harsh midday glare into a soft, ambient glow while preserving your privacy, ensuring your restful space remains a calm, tactile retreat from the outside world. Every detail is thoughtfully balanced to elevate both form and function.

How do you incorporate architectural symmetry into your favorite room? Let us know your design thoughts below, or reach out to our team to explore custom window solutions tailored to your home.

K E W

This family residence has gorgeous external brick walls in the living area, but every winter the room struggled to stay warm. The heating was on, yet all that warm air was rising straight up the stairwell instead of staying where the family actually lived.

Rather than treating each window as a separate decision, we looked at how the whole space functioned. Linen blend curtains with a little more body than a sheer dressed the windows beautifully, while a custom curved track across the hallway created a soft divide between the living area and the staircase.

Two nights later, my client sent me a message that made my week:
“The curtain is working beautifully.”

The room was staying warmer, the heating wasn’t working as hard and there’ll be energy savings to come.

That’s what thoughtful window furnishings can do. They don’t just finish a room. They change the way you live in it.

The difference is in the details. đź’›

If you’re building, renovating, or living with a space that just isn’t working the way it should, let’s have a conversation before winter rolls around again.

This Surrey Hills project came to us through a referral from a styling team, as our clients prepared their family home for sale.

They wanted to refresh the upstairs retreat and stairwell before the home went on the market.

Their first thought was to match the existing carpet, but after seeing the space, I suggested going with a Natural White instead. It instantly made everything feel lighter, brighter and more open, which is exactly what we wanted heading into the cooler months.

So we replaced the Roman blinds with soft, flowing curtains. It was a simple change, but it completely changed how those spaces felt.

Watching our clients see the finished result is always one of my favourite parts of the job. Sometimes it’s the smallest decisions that make the biggest difference.

The difference is in the details.
