Don’t play with fire… find a company you can trust 🔥
If you’re looking to have a wood burning stove installed, you want a company who has the experience and customer care to manage the complete project.

Tayside Stoves was founded from our sister company Steve Beattie Joinery - because we could see that people would hire a “stove company” to put a log burner in. The stove would work, but the finish was often poor. Steve Beattie Joinery was constantly being called in afterwards to fix rough plasterwork, install new skirting boards, or relay hearths that hadn’t been levelled correctly.

We realised there was a better way.
We built Tayside Stoves to offer a complete, end-to-end service, combining over 25 years of building experience with specialist stove expertise. The result is a company that cares just as much about how the wall looks as how the fire burns.

From modern to traditional stoves and everything in between, at Tayside Stoves, we will find the right stove for you - making sure it meets all the required standards & legislation.

Experience matters… trust us with your wood burning stove installation and enjoy cosy night with peace of mind. 🔥

Google Review

“When we moved to our new house it was obvious the log burner was in an illogical place, and we decided to move it to a more appropriate location

I asked Tayside Stoves to remove the old log burner and put in a new log burner (a Jotul 167) but in a different place but still use the existing chimney, we live in an old cottage with 3 existing chimneys, and I didn’t want yet another!

From the start this was not an easy job for Steve, but he gave use a couple of options and once the old stove and hearth was out it was clear which option was the best

The result – a fantastic new stove (Jotul are worth the extra cost) in the place we wanted which also extended the kitchen space

Steve knows what he is doing and understands legislation he has a keen eye for detail and the finished job exceeds our expectations.

If I was to fit another stove, I would certainly contact Steve at Tayside Stoves again and I would recommend him to anyone thinking of fitting a log burner”
