Two years in the making and finally this space is the welcome I always wanted. It’s been a space full of love and discovery and I’m honestly so happy with how it’s turned out.

Happy ACOTAR release day 🤭

I don’t know what’s more risqué…teaching myself to wire a light fitting or doing it whilst listening to ACOTAR?

But I did both!

Also am I the only one that gets the ick slightly when they lick their fingers after, is that hot?💦🫣😂

A few of my favourite snaps because October is flying by!

Firstly thank you for all the love on the hallway, I’m beyond happy with it

It just brings me so much joy every time I see it

And makes me so happy!

I even organised my laundry cupboard

Eva turned 6, my little lockdown baby how are you so big?

She adores Sylvanian Families Shop so I made her a little jewellery box set up inspired by Cozy Nar | Sylvanian Families & cute things

She wanted a butterfly themed party so I made her a little crafty set up with a few of her friends

Halloween sneaking in

This has been such a long time coming but I finally finished cladding all the walls with T&G and finished building the utility out of scraps. I can’t wait to finish caulking and painting it soon

I attended the 𝐮𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡.𝐜𝐨𝐦 awards ceremony where I had been shortlisted for Best Home Content Creator and Best Children’s Room. I didn’t win but honestly was so proud to have been nominated and made it to the final five. Thank you to everyone who voted for me 🫶🏻

I had a whirlwind weekend away on my own…

Ad - to Ibiza for the Laura James S/S 27 press trip. Such a pinch me moment!

The garden has been really giving! Every evening the girls play out here and the playhouse has been worth its weight in gold

We’ve done a lot of outdoor exploring

And walking the downs on a foggy morning is my kind of therapy

I’m honestly shocked, like I cannot even imagine how many of you are here following along. So I thought it was time I explained why I set up my account and how it’s changed over the years. Let’s just say we’ve grown together!

But honestly, a huge thank you! To each and every one of you. The likes, the saves, the shares and just the general love. What a wonderful little community you all are!

ad🪻Bringing the history of our home back into our hallway

When we started renovating our 1930s hallway I made a huge discovery. Hidden underneath hardboard, I found the original panelling and spindles on our staircase

It instantly brought so much character back into the house, so I painted it in the same soft butter yellow and restored the original details.

But I felt like the hallway needed something more.

While renovating, I’d also discovered little pieces of the wallpaper that had once been in our home and I knew I wanted to bring wallpaper back into the space. Something that nodded to its heritage but still felt fresh.

This is Flower Buds in Blue by 🌿

I loved the classic charm with its modern twist and the wavy design was the perfect way to link the floor tiles and original panelling together while adding the detail the hallway was missing

And if you didn’t know already Boråstapeter’s designs are inspired by archived wallpapers found in old buildings around Sweden, which made this feel like such a fitting choice for our old home.

A little bit of its history, brought back to life but in a new way 💛

It makes me smile everytime I come home!
