Omgoodnes!! What a weekend, and what a storm to launch into!!

Massive thank you to everyone who came out and braved the gale force wind and torrential rain this weekend to celebrate the opening of .art first solo exhibition, Nothign is Perfetc, and fully embodied the title in doing so.

It was perfect in its imperfection.

We've spent these last two days with incredible work, met some brilliant people, talked about art until our voices went, drank, danced, and had the kind of weekend that people will be talking about for a long time.

So proud to have hosted this and already thinking about what comes next.

A year ago this space was a building site and I was standing outside with a set of keys wondering what on earth I'd signed myself up for!

On Thursday 1st October we turn one.

A whole year of coworkers, breakfast clubs, launches, pop-ups, workshops, friendships I didn't have this time last year, and a community that's become the thing I'm most proud of building.

So we're throwing a party and you're invited.
Thursday 1st October, 11am til 5pm ish, at the studio on South Street.

Cake, bubbly, music, doors wide open all day. Come as you are, dip in, dip out, bring a friend, come solo, you know me by now, you do you boo.

Who doesn't love a before and after transformation!?

We're fast approaching our first birthday 🎂 which just blows my mind even writing that!! This time last year it was a mad dash to get everything in place ready for opening on October 1st!

This space brings me so much joy, I love working from here, the natural light, the amazing artwork by Hot Noodle Art and the view of the changing seasons out of the window.

Hard to believe it looked like this a year ago today!! I actually still can't believe I managed to complete this project in such a short time scale. Massive thanks to my amazing team of trades and my dad for all the hard graft!!!

I'm here for the laughing too loud, the dancing barefoot in the middle of a Tuesday, the people who bring big energy into a room and don't apologise for it.

That's genuinely what this place is for. Come as you are, do your thing, get your work done if you want to or just soak up the chaos for a bit, there's no version of you that isn't welcome here.
