Recently we welcomed artist to Studio Pottery London for a beautiful pottery painting workshop ✨ The response was so incredible that we're doing it again! Join us with Elisheva on June 28th at 10am! Link in bio to secure your spot 🔗

Starting with a live demonstration, participants explored how to approach ceramics like a canvas, experimenting with colour, brushwork and surface through Elisheva’s painterly approach to clay.

From delicate floral motifs to expressive marks and layered compositions, each piece became a reflection of its maker.

A huge thank you to Elisheva for sharing her practice with such generosity and to everyone who joined us for this special session 🤍

Stay tuned for more workshops and creative gatherings at the studio this summer.

Gaia sleeps… Mother Earth. Such a captivating, empathetic and grounding garden at the Chelsea Flower Show last week. I’m still in awe of Sarah Eberle’s stunning contribution to craft and design.

Thank you to Moriarty Events ( ) for such a beautiful afternoon immersed in nature - my favourite kind.

Chelsea hosted this exceptional, award-winning garden last week, and it was truly one of the most striking spaces of the show.

New vessels by Gregory Tingay have just arrived at the Studio Pottery London shop ✨

Born in Zimbabwe and trained under some of the most distinguished potters of the 20th century, Gregory’s work carries a rare sense of history, craftsmanship and quiet poetry. His vases and bowls move between the historic and the contemporary, united by themes of nature, movement and intricate surface decoration.

Gregory’s new pieces feature his signature sgraffito technique, where delicate carved patterns emerge through layers of clay to evoke leaves, branches and organic forms full of rhythm and life.

There is something deeply timeless about his work. Objects made slowly, thoughtfully and with extraordinary technical mastery.

Glaze is where chemistry meets intuition 🫟

Join us at Studio Pottery London for a special hands-on workshop with ceramic artist Elena Gileva, founder of , exploring the art of glaze application, layering and surface.

Rather than decorative painting in the traditional sense, this session focuses on brush-on glaze application as a true surface technique, understanding how thickness, timing, layering and texture influence the final fired result.

Through demonstrations, test tiles and hands-on glazing, Elena will guide participants through:

• Surface preparation
• Brush loading and stroke control
• Building consistent coats
• Layering techniques and glaze combinations
• Avoiding common glazing issues such as crawling, streaking and uneven coverage

Choose a bisque piece at the studio or bring your own and experiment with GLOST’s exceptional glazes from smooth and predictable finishes to reactive surfaces that bubble, shift and transform in the kiln.
