One of the more left-field projects we’ve been working on this year is Archive Coffee
It began while researching the European coffee house tradition and the blends they once served, coffee made from beans arriving from Brazil, India, Java, Ethiopia and beyond. We’ve been looking at these traditional recipes and used them as the starting point for a small collection of blends adapted for the way we enjoy coffee today.
The online shop also brings together brewing equipment we use and recommend, alongside the first pieces from a developing collection for the breakfast table and larder.

Comprising beans from Brazil, Indonesia and India, each origin separately roasted then blended by hand. Primarily for espresso or moka pot, but when medium ground, also works in a cafetière. Prepare as usual for your favourite method. Works very well with milk based drinks.
True Espresso – A classic espresso blend of coffees from South America, Ethiopia and Southern India Inspired by original Italian recipes from the 1950s. It is bold with a balanced bitterness, and is our go to everyday espresso blend. As with all our blends it works well with all types of milk. Prepare as you would normally do.

This is a stronger filter blend based on Italian coffee blend recipes from the 1960s it is distinctive and versatile. Good for all methods of preparation and good with all milks.
