🌿Bringing colour and pattern into a room is so uplifting 🌿 and I made these fabulous cushions using an ever-popular fabric from Vanessa Arbuthnott called Lattice Leaf. In order to really 'pop' to patter, I've used a contrasting Romo Linara fabric in the reverse and for the piping. What do you think 🤔

✨ A recent Roman Blind installation in a beautiful Cotswold home office ✨

One of the things I love most about bespoke window treatments is that they're about so much more than simply dressing a window.

For this project, I positioned the Roman Blind above the window aperture rather than within it. This simple design decision helps maximise the amount of natural light entering the room while also creating the illusion of a taller window, giving the space a more elegant and balanced feel.

The client chose the gorgeous Rama fabric from The Pure Edit – a charming painterly stripe in warm, earthy tones, beautifully accented with a delicate dotted edge detail. The softness of the pattern works perfectly within this peaceful office setting, adding character and warmth without overwhelming the space.

It's often these thoughtful details that make the biggest difference to how a room looks and feels, and that's the beauty of choosing bespoke. Every design is tailored to both the room and the way you live.

✨ A little design trick can make a huge difference... ✨

For this beautiful Cotswold lounge, I designed and created a trio of bespoke Roman blinds, carefully fitted outside the window recess rather than within it.

Why? Because by positioning the blinds above the window recess, we were able to create the illusion of taller windows, instantly enhancing the proportions of the room and achieving a beautifully balanced, symmetrical look. The result is a space that feels brighter, more elegant, and perfectly in keeping with the character of this lovely home.

This is one of the many advantages of choosing bespoke soft furnishings. Every room is different, and there is rarely a "one-size-fits-all" solution. I take the time to consider every aspect of a room, from window proportions and architectural features to furniture placement and colour schemes to ensure my clients receive the very best design solution for their home.

There’s something about rich colour and beautiful pattern that instantly brings a room to life. ❤️

I made these gorgeous cushions using a lovely fabric from iLiv called Boho in the stunning Begonia colourway, blending warm raspberry, soft coral, and earthy tones that work beautifully in both country and bohemian-inspired interiors.

I made these beautiful cushions using Linwood’s stunning Wakehurst fabric in the ‘Midnight Rumble’ colourway — a wonderfully painterly floral with rich depth, softness, and timeless character.
