A place to disappear.

Along Montana’s legendary Madison River, this sporting lodge was created as an escape from the pace of modern life. For a client working in the world of technology, the vision wasn’t simply to build a hunting and fishing retreat. It was to create a place where family, friends, and the landscape took precedence over everything else.

Built from hand-hewn timbers, native stone, and materials rooted in the region, the lodge appears as though it has stood on the riverbank for generations. More than a cabin, this chapter of Peace in the West is about creating refuge, where the rhythm of the Madison River replaces the pace of everyday life and the landscape itself becomes the greatest luxury.
