Best part of the vintage business for me is getting private tours of really amazing spaces. So imagine getting a call to come look at a mid century church from 1963! And of course, finding something really amazing! In this case a large amount of authentic Eames Chairs by Herman Miller, 1960s.
$200 each and discounts if you buy a bunch :)

Flew to Nashville for what turned out to be the saddest sale ever! But it got me “out of the house”!! Rented a huge truck and picked my way back to Los Angeles. Got these amazing very rare tandem benches made in the 1960s by Arthur Umanoff. Some were in great shape but most were a bit worn. I get back to L.A. and take 3 seats to my upholstery guy of 15 years. Hand him several yards of this epic dead stock upholstery I’ve wanted to use for years!! And voila ! Incredible result. Now what colors go on the next set ?
