I was an “adventurous beginning knitter” when I started my first sweater at 49.
Yes, I said 49.
And I had first learned to knit at age 11.
38 years earlier.
When I finished, I was 50. First sweater finished at 50.
I’m going to be 58 in one month, and today I did a repair on my first sweater. Some folks call me an “expert”. I think of myself as an open minded continuing learner. Case in point: I didn’t learn how to do basic repairs until a year or two before I opened

Keep learning. Start learning how to knit or crochet today, no matter how old you are. It’s never too late, and it ain’t over‘til it’s over. We’re here to help.
